Clearlift

What is Clearlift?

It is a cutting edge, noninvasive light-based skin resurfacing technique.

What are the most common reasons for having Clearlift done?
Fine lines, wrinkles, laxity, large pores, and discoloration.

How does it work?
Clearlift technology reaches a depth of subcutaneous tissue that can only be reached with laser technology. Small laser beams penetrate the tissue, causing multiple small microtraumas that then signal the body to kick into the heal and repair mode. When this happens, your body goes to work laying down new collagen, elastin, and tissue. Because it works beneath the epidermis it has the power to stimulate and rebuild the foundation of youthful, vibrant skin.

How many treatments does it take to see results?
For best results we recommend you do 4-5 sessions spaced a month apart. We also recommend “touch up” treatments every 6-8 months.

How long does it take to see results?
Although some patients notice a difference within a couple days, this is not what we tell you to expect. ClearLift rejuvenates the skin from its deeper subcutaneous layer, and it takes weeks to months for the newer, fresher tissue to grow to the surface. Furthermore, each person’s results can also be impacted by overall health (i.e. age, diet, sleep, stress, etc). Generally speaking, the healthier you are on the inside, the better results you’re going to get on the outside.

How long will results last?
Each person will have a different experience, and your results will be impacted by the overall health of your skin and body. The new tissue your body creates in response to the ClearLift treatment doesn’t “go away” per se. It  will wear down and age at the same rate as the rest of your skin.

How will the skin look immediately after the treatment?

Because it penetrates down the deeper subcutaneous tissue, it leaves no mark on the more superficial epidermis. There is no pain, redness, irritation, or abrasion.  Immediately after the treatment you should have no evidence that anything was done at all.

How long does the procedure take?
In addition to being effective, it’s also a great anti-aging therapy because it’s quick, usually no more than 20-30 minutes. That’s why it’s nicknamed “The Lunchtime Facelift.” Get in, get out, get on with your day!

Can it help with the particularly tough areas, such as crow’s feet and around the mouth?
Yes. Different tips for our handpiece allow for different levels of penetration within a single treatment, allowing us to give a thorough overall treatment while also being able to hone in on more problem areas. Furthermore, ClearLift is safe enough to be used on the delicate tissues (such as around the eyes) that are normally not candidates for treatment with other more aggressive lasers.

How does it help with discoloration?
When the laser penetrates to the deeper layers of the skin it blasts excess pigment, breaking it up and allowing the body to clear it away. Because of the depth at which this occurs these results won’t be evident for several weeks, until the new skin grows to the surface. Best results require several treatments.

Can it be used on areas other than the face?
Absolutely! Any place where skin is wrinkled, aging, or sagging is a candidate for ClearLift therapy.

Is it painful?
Not at all! In fact, this is one thing that sets ClearLift apart from other lasers on the market and one of the things our patients love most. Many of our patients actually fall asleep, saying it feels like a light facial massage.

How long does the procedure take?
It’s quick. Usually 20-30 minutes.

What kind of laser light is used with ClearLift?
It combines the energy of non-ablative Yag with Pixel Q Switch of 1064 nm.
