Quench

Quench is a vitamin infusion that contains ingredients particularly important for immunity, healing, thyroid function and nervous system support.

Ingredient information

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) plays a crucial role in immune function by supporting the cells that specifically fight infections (i.e. T cells and phagocytes). It also is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage caused by toxins and free radicals. Additionally, it helps increase immunity by increasing the production of antibodies, the proteins that defend us against illness and infection.

Thiamine
(B1) helps convert carbohydrates into energy and is important for nerve and muscle function.

Riboflavin
(B2) helps convert food into energy, supports normal vision, and is important for skin and mucous membranes

Niacin
(B3) helps convert food into energy, supports skin health, and is important for nerve function.

Pantothenic acid
(B5) helps convert food into energy and is important for production of hormones and cholesterol

Pyridoxine
(B6) helps convert food into energy, supports brain function, and is important for the synthesis of neurotransmitters and hemoglobin.

Magnesium
is a mineral essential for hundreds of reactions in the body. One of its most crucial roles is that of calming and protecting the nervous system. It can help soothe and heal overtaxed and over stressed nerves. Many researchers consider magnesium to be the biggest mineral deficiency in the standard American diet. Supplementation can improve depression, reduce anxiety, reduce inflammation, improve sleep quality, and help balance other neurotransmitters. It can also lower the risk of neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s. In addition to its healing benefits to the brain and nerves, it also is very helpful to ease tension in muscles and support digestion and gut motility.

Zinc
is an essential mineral that boosts the function of immune cells responsible for fighting against infection, including white blood cells and natural killer cells. It also helps regulate inflammation and antibody production. Deficiencies in zinc are linked to increased susceptibility to illness and infection.

Manganese
is an essential mineral that plays a role in bone health, wound healing, brain health, and metabolism. It acts as an antioxidant, protecting the body against oxidative stress and inflammation. It helps to regulate blood sugars and supports the immune system. Additionally, it helps produce collagen, a vital component of healthy skin and joints. Manganese can support brain health by improving the neurotransmitters responsible for mood, learning, memory, and concentration. It can also help decrease the effects of aging on the brain by decreasing inflammation and oxidative stress while promoting the formation of new brain cells.

Copper
is an essential mineral that plays a role in many different bodily functions. It aids in the absorption of iron and is important for the production of red blood cells which carry oxygen throughout the body. It also helps protect the cells from inflammation, toxin exposure, and aging. It is a crucial component of healthy connective tissue such as tendons and ligaments. It supports the heart and helps to balance blood pressure.

Selenium
is an essential mineral that plays a critical role in thyroid function, immunity, and metabolism. It helps with growth and repair of tissues and decreases inflammation. Studies also show that selenium helps reduce cancer risk while improving learning, memory, and heart health.Â
