Meet Jessa

Jessa is a Wyoming-native, born in Afton, Wyoming and raised in both Star Valley and Worland, Wyoming. After high school, she served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Columbus, Ohio. She then went on to school at BYU-Idaho where she got her Bachelor of Science degree in horticulture.

After some health struggles and the discovery of Lyme disease, Jessa decided to enter the aesthetic world in hopes of it being less burdensome to her health. She graduated from the aesthetics program at Paul Mitchell-Rexburg in 2021 and soon after started at Wholesome Health as a receptionist. Jessa then went back to school and got her Master Aesthetics License at the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics where she specialized in lasers, CoolSculpting, and advanced exfoliation treatments. As soon as she finished school, she came right back to Wholesome Health and Aesthetics to be the bodysculpting specialist. Jessa now does all of our CoolSculpting and assists Dr. Wheeler with liposuction treatments.

Jessa has also transitioned into the role of medical assistant to Dr. Wheeler and Jenny (our nurse practitioner) where she is so happy to be practicing her true passion: health. She loves helping patients as she has been a patient here herself and has seen drastic changes in her own health and now the health of many others. Some of her favorites are the endobiogeny, custom tinctures, and several IV treatments.

Jessa loves the gym, outdoors, and animals. Since getting her health in check, Jessa has decided to take things to the next level and now competes in competitive bodybuilding. She maintains her good health to compete in such a taxing sport by doing all the things Dr. Wheeler recommends to her patients regularly. In the summer, you’ll find her in Wyoming most weekends, enjoying life helping around the family farm and ranch where she spends as much time as possible with “her” (actually her sister’s) cow dogs and horses, floating the river, and paddleboarding.
